METHODOLOGY OF O3 MRP

O3 MRP is based on the Material Requirement Planning methodology. It is a tool that allows, based on the estimation of future demand, and considering the available stock of finished products, to determine which is the Master Production Schedule. Based on the schedule, it is determined the quantities of semi-manufactured products that must be produced each time (Recommended Production Plan). Finally, each semi-manufactured product is separated in its raw materials components in order to obtain the Purchase Plan. Throughout this process, the application incorporates in the algorithms, the consideration of the batchs, lead times, plant capacity, reorder point and other specifications of the production process.
